Bridgnorth , River Severn.

I have the opportunity for a short stay in that area early September 2023 and would appreciate advice for fishing that stretch of the Severn obviously would love to catch a barbel or two!. So would anyone out there advise me please.

Plenty on the BAA ticket around that area, Knowle Sands, Danery etc. There's a tackle shop in town it might pay you to make a few enquiries. I haven't fished up there for a few years now. Some parts near the bridge were free!

BAA is your best bet, barbel are plentiful right through the middle. Its really all about finding them given the prevailing conditions, pellet, meat and boilies will all catch.
