rigs made up and on rods having an overnight session tonight saturday last chance for 5 weeks . 170 miles round trip hope i do not blank on a run of 8 blanks on various stretches on this river over the last 12 months.

On low very clear waters with cagey fish (like kings weir) I would say this was definitely worth a go.... we have all seen the videos of barbel spooking off of fluorocarbon hooklengths

i live in wigan so the ribble is my local river but have fell out with it . have been fishing the dove and upper trent this season had a good result last night 3 barbel and 1 chub on the new hook length after 5 blanks this season on the dove
