Boilie Help

Senior Member
Could anyone assist, I am after a meat based boilie but when googled I can only find the dynamite meaty marine

Do you mean a commercial boilie with a meat meal base and no fishmeal?

or just a bait with a high level of meat meal ?

Pyramid baits PP60 I believe is based on poultry meal.

Banksides D-liver incorporates liver obviously but not sure on meat content. Not cheap too.

A couple of john bakers mixes are meaty.

Clive,

They look interesting (and relatively cheap).

Are you recommending them based on your results or just that you have heard of them mate??

Cheers all,
Clive I've heard today off someone they have had some decent results off them, but he's a carp man on Stillwater's.

the (slightly dodgy) explaination will be that the smaller the bait the longer it takes to produce, coupled with fact that smaller bait sizes are not the most popular and hence not produced in quantity, with a result of lower efficiency and hence higher cost.

(roll your own and revolt brother!)

A point - maybe of interest - is that working out the volume of a 14mm versus a 10mm spherical boilie them 1 x 14mm is equivalent to (slightly less) 3 x 10mm.
Just take the radius and cube it for other sizes. So you get for example 1 x 18mm is equivalent to 2 x 14mm. Boring maybe but worth a thought when introducing free offerings.

Cheers
Bob
