Quite a useful resource. Wouldn't it be great if something like this existed for all our rivers. Quite a task though.

Indeed Nick. I'm sure most of the knowledge exists with people on the forum. But it's quite a technological challenge (for me anyway).

I have a hardback guide to the river Severn somewhere in my collection. I seem to remember this was printed in the Seventies. It would be interesting to see this updated.....

I have a copy of an old booklet that the EA produced maybe 15 years ago detailing the Trent's fishing just the same as Bob's. As the EA rent out the stretches I would think that they could quite easily fill in Bob's information gaps, I presume they no longer produce the booklet due to cost implications.
