Debated or not with so many in the past. Won't belittle angling with 'it's just fishing' quip, but quite a few just believed in themselves a little too much. Funny looking back now but genuinely miss the likes of Simon King.

Will Millard the old man and the sand eel great read, one generation of fishers becomes the next, fishing can bring out the best in us , or the worst, a angling friend who now resides in France had , had enough of being got at by idiots who should have known better !

Think he's gone to the moon ...................................................................... oh no, that was his brother Jonathan

Strange I thought they had all but vanished. Poddy now lives in the Rockies of Colrarado and fly fishes. Ousemiester moved to Spain. The six fingerd one gave up fishing and just plays golf. Chunky still fishes for Barbel mind you, all good anglers but just wind up merchants.

I think you may have been misled about six fingers, he tried golf but it wasn't for him......he returned to angling to seek out a true English burbot........he is still seeking. In the meantime he is now one of the west countries top Tilley hat salesmen.
