Best reel For trotting when casting distance?

I've just tried a recent purchase of a Matrix HX Pro 4000 for a bit of pond work so can't wait to give it a try with a float down the river. It feels super smooth and there's the right amount of distance between rod and reel for feathering the line off the spool. I notice it wasn't mentioned in the reels above so could be one to consider. I'll let you know in a few weeks as not too long now until the 16th.

I've got a pair of Cadence CS7 4000's .. at £80 each with a spare spool I've been very impressed . They have been great when trotting a waggler and maggots for chub .
I don’t do a lot of float fishing but have used the CS10 4000s for quite a few seasons and had plenty of barbel and good chub on them
Light as a feather, nice line lay, strong bail arm, good clutch and reliable - tick every box for me and I’ll use them for speci- waggler work on the far bank
