Best lightweight digital scales?

I'd think twice mate both me and my dad have binned ours as they were inaccurate. I now have a set of the korum digi and find them to be spot on and not to exapensive only £30

I've also got the Korums and very pleased with them. If you do a bit of looking around you can find the same scales with out the Korum name for only £19.99 I think it was. I'll go and have a bit of a look and if I can find them I'll post a link.

Fladen 10kg Digital Scale - Last few to clear

NEW 56lb / 25kg DIGITAL SCALES + CARP SACK FOR FISHING | eBay

Korum Digital Scales | Digital Fishing Scales | Complete Fisherman

I think these are all the same scales but quite diffarent prices. I think for the price there a very good deal and spot on when checked with official check weights. I have three sets of scales all diffarent makes but all within 2oz through the range up to 20kg and that is good enough for me I'm happy to be within 2oz. My other sets are Ruben Heaton weighmaster and Ultra Sport 30

Bill, thank you for that info, they sound like a nice set of scales, look smaller than my electro samsons..

They might be smaller John, but they won't be better. I've been using the "Samsons" for 7 years and I wouldn't change them. Spot on for build, accuracy and battery longevity.

Hi Simon, the "Samsons" certainly are highly rated by a number of top specialist guys, the only issue I have with them is the one referred to by John. I gather that if you use them on the old money setting (rather than kilos) it reads in pounds and decimal points of a pound, rather than pounds and ounces. Obviously if that is so, a calculator (or a whiz at mental arithmetic) is required to work out the information you really want, i.e, pounds and ounces?

Again, if that is so, I have to wonder how many folk have read, say, 10.10 as ten pounds ten ounces, instead of ten point one pounds, or ten pounds one point six ounces in fact

Cheers, Dave.

David,

There are 3 settings on the Samsons.

Kilos, Lbs/Ozs, Lbs in decimal.

Sounds like some people haven't read the manual?

Yes thats right pounds and ounces are spot on..The only think i wanted to know about the reubens was whether they had a hold button like the electros have...

Sorry can someone just clarify do the reubens weigh in lb's and oz's or give it as a decimal ?

lb's and oz's
