best landing net handle

Ray

I was thinking of buying this one - but have not seen a review except for comments on price - do you have a view on its quality?

Hi Paul, I have had The Lone Angler Landing net handle since May I cant fault it mate. Fantastic piece of kit will last you forever. I also have the Drennen handle which I have had 7 years, Its a good handle, but I would choose The Lone Angler handle out of the two.

Regards Ray Thorpe.

That'll be handy for doing some weightlifting exercise while waiting for a bite....;)

Regular gym workouts and 1,000 mile runs make sure I can cope with the extreme challenges demanded by the LA handle. It is rumoured the SAS hopefuls will be asked to lug one over the Beacons...

I have just bought the Drennan and its fine. It's stiff and light, hasn't seen too much action yet. I took it apart to have a look at the locking mechanism and if its kept clean I'm sure it will be OK. I have started fishing again after a long break and bought a cheap one to get me and my boys going - mistake, I fished a local lake and had three carp to 19.5 lb, the end piece had loosened by the end of the session. I bought the Drennan the following day, buy cheap buy twice etc....

Your right there, been looking at the lone angler looks immense might take the plunge.
