Barbel Fishing Attire

Ade Williams in ski apparel? Ade Williams - Man of Action, delivering chocolates to beautiful women in far flung isolated chalets before escaping the armed guards? Nope, can't see it myself.

I see you more in your summer wear y' know, the long khaki shorts and pith helmet :D

You mean this one Dave.

For some strange reason Rich Frampton seems to think that my angling (I don't do fishing as I leave that to the professionals) attire is amusing. He has requested that I post this photograph he took of me preparing luncheon for my assistants, as he is apparently a little technically challenged in such matters. I think he has caught me baffled expression quite well.....

Hi men ,

Will :D:D:D:D:D:D ;).

Shooting sticks , not seats , are the way froward . I once made a shooting stick as an apprentice piece for Judge James Kingham , an Old Baily judge . It came out really well , and was presented to him during a visit to Vauxhalls in Luton . A while later I received a nice letter from him , commenting on its quality , and permission to use the letter as a reference as well .

I always see it as a " get out of Jail card " :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Kingham, a fine climber and mountaineer in his day...unfortunately for you Mark I think he may be dead now so you are unlikely to be up before him on a poaching charge! I always find "standing on the square" whilst asking forgiveness from "the great architect" works in such cases...although check the beak in question isn't a papist first as you may find yourself doing time for a speeding ticket.

Subject: Coming Soon

And the sooner the better, I say. Put the oiks back in the place they belong and all that. Been getting ruddy fractious and uppity in recent years - ideas above their station (Balham) and all that.

Young Harrovians sneered at by young Londoners outside the annual Eton-Harrow Cricket Match, 1937

Which reminds me - ask young Olga to send Thank You letters to the flyfishers, hedgies and bankers who so generously donated - "How much was it, Deirdre? A quarter of a million...? Half, you say - my word..." - to our Rivers Trust without so much as a word about coming down to fish.

As ever,

Bertram Beecham, Chairman, Godfather etc (The)
