Barbel books ( HOW MANY )

Great Barbel Stories.....Jon Berry.

Those Elusive Barbel.....John Cook:eek:

Can't believe nobody has mentioned "Barbel- a lifetimes addiction" trefor west. a great read

The chapter where he caught Beau (sp?) during the 80's Great Storm is one of the best barbel capture stories ever IMHO. I can't read it without feeling I'm there experiencing it with him.

As to the original question, the wife reckons I must have approaching 20 barbel related books and I daren't question her in case it's more. :D

Barbel by Ian Howcroft - part of the Osprey Anglers series edited by Clive Gammon.

As an aside, does anyone know if these softbacks, originally published in 1975, are now collectable?
