I want to get out on the Avon but conditions are crap. Tried on Tuesday sitting in 4" of water and very muddy.
But not a touch and river still pushing through. I will try but the wind is really strong and i like to feel comfortable.
Hope you can find somewhere local to end the season on

Not allowed out until 31st March. Nearest Barbel rivers are Bristol Avon or Dorset Stour, both 2 hours drive away.

I have just joined Plymouth Coarse angling club so will have a go for Silvers until the new season.
