That’s great thanksI think the bank tackle sizes are on the big side. Their size 10 can be similar to other size 8.
I don’t have Gardner hooks to compare, but below is a bank wide gape 10 next to a Drennan wide gape specialist 10. Hope this helps.

Alan. Don't know if this is any use, it's not what you asked, but I can tell you the size 10 is more like an 8. Certainly it is bigger than the Gardner size 10 Target specimen curved point. I've used both with some success.Does anyone know how Bank Tackle wide gapes compare in size to Gardner talon tip wide gapes? Specifically sizes 10 and 8

I use the Gardner target specimen hooks for maggots which are great ( and only £2) but the talon tips for boilie/paste…. Have had trouble getting them in 10s locally though and buying online seems a bit priceyAlan,
I use the size 10 Bank Tackle wide gape hooks for worm kebab and some Barbel fishing. They are too “chunky” for maggot on the hook, I’ve contacted Bank a couple of times about smaller sizes and although they say they are looking at introducing smaller sizes there is no time scale I’m afraid
