put in my order with Chris Lythe, scotton long trotter, barbel master and a 1915. these should cover all my needs and over the next 24months or so i will be shedding most of my collection, starting with the ones i have on ebay now. the D.A.M. robo, 5 1/2" trudex and avon royal. later the ray walton mk2, bob james 2080 and a few others will part my company.
i am strictly adhering to my 2 year rule until then, if it hasn't been used in two years it gets sold and that includes my rods, one hexagraph is on ebay now too, a 12' 1 1/5lb CT carp with an action better suited to surface carp stalking and bigger barbel. i will miss this rod but as i've been looking for another to make the pair for a couple of years without luck, and my fishing has changed since i got it.

still want a Bruce and Walker Ray Walton hexagraph avon no.1 if one comes on the market but even my mk4 cane carp and avon rods are not safe as they were not used last year due to the wizard and Fred J Taylor roach rods. must get out on the bank more;)

Ah nostalgia I cannot wait to break out the Winfield starter set later this summer! Fishing with a float a lead and a spinner all at the same time just like the good old days.
