hi all,
with the temps dropping over the last week or two catches have been slowing down as well, is a drop in water temp the kiss of death for all fish like it is for barbel? after all they are all cold blooded and they are all fish?:)

Many of the fish in stillwaters are gearing up to spawn Leon, thats probably a factor, the drop in air temps i doubt will have had a major effect on them, water temps being well with the zone to keep them active, which if they are they must feed, with the exception of when they actually start spawning they appear to go into a fast, and eat nothing how long prior to actually spawning they stop eating, and how long after i'm not sure, in fact they may not actually completly stop it may just seem that way when they appear nigh on impossible to catch.
