Another 11' Double Tip Blank

A fellow rod builder has been very positive about this blank, so felt it was my 'duty' to investigate.
Will be making up over the next few weeks.
Standard tip plus spliced tip with pretty matt carbon.

I like the look and spec of that! Will follow your build, this might be a winter project for me.

From this angle in the photo she looks sort of torrixy like. With the majority of the bend angle above the centre line joint. Is that how it felt or was it more comparable to another blank.

I've always found with the twin-tip rods I've owned and used, that the rod feels markedly better with one tip than the other. Would this be the case with this rod Bob?

Nice craftsmanship btw.
Yeah I found that with my old triple top peregrine.
it just felt slightly better with the top that had the slightly heavier spliced tip.
the surprising thing was that particular section was an after thought and built months after the rest of it.
It wasn’t much but it just seemed to be a slightly nicer section to play fish on.
