Got a load of old lead pipe from work, the idea is to make my feeders heavier, is there a way of attaching this to my feeders with out melting the lead which I don't fancy all ideas welcome cheers

Hammer flat, then cut to desired length/shape, and cable tie to your feeder.
Alternatively, give it to me, and I'll make you some leads and feeder strap on dead cow weights .......
