Accommodation and fisheries on the Wye?

Hi all,

Seeing as the Wye is currently such a popular river with barbel anglers at the moment, I'd like to approach more potential advertisers to BFW.

Barbel Fishing Accommodation

Can anyone recommend places to stay on the Wye who we may be able to contact please? Or fisheries...

Thanks in advance.

Google "Wye Rapids Cottages" at Symonds Yat West , a number of these rent out for holiday lets(block of 18No).
Stunning location, can see river from them, opposite Saracens Head.
Close to Biblins and Ross waters
I stay there regularly.

Lumley's Guest House at Kerne Bridge, close to lots of available water and a top class B&B. The Old Mill Guest House at Hoarwithy is first class as well and close to good Pie and Rusk controlled stretches.

Red Rail Farm at Hoarwithy. Quite pricey but absolutely top draw accomodation and breakfast which can be cooked just as early as you like. [url=http://www.redrail@btinternet.com

Caradoc court. Stayed there last year in the self catering studio with my other half. Also have a larger self catering apartment, that sleeps six iirc? Plus b&b in the main house. Close to a good pub, the lough pool inn. Great food.

Hi Andy, we've tended to stay at pubs (need a bar!), over the last three years we've stayed at: The Inn on the Wye (Kerne Bridge); The Hostelrie at Goodrich; and the Old Court (Symonds Yat West). They tend to be a bit more pricey than self-catering (£50 to £60 ish for B&B), but would happily go back to any of them (and indeed, will be doing shortly).
Hope this helps
