Well I have just seen on BBC south Today, Martin Salter saying the AT intend to take legal action against the Government due to 25 years of missed targets for Environmental standards set out by the EU.

The dead line for these targets is December this year.

Not sure how this is going to pan out if they are linked with the EA.
 
It is a joint effort by WWF-UK, Angling Trust and Fish Legal so initial fears of a vested interest may be unfounded.
 
For too long now the EA have been more interested in PR than telling anglers the truth. As old Abe Lincoln once said 'You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time!'
