This is a lovely rod with a relaxed `bamboo action` from a good maker.
It’s in sound condition but would benefit from being spruced up – the whippings are sound but have faded from purple to greyish & the varnish has some nicks in it, mostly on the butt section. The wooden reel seat needs a rub down & varnish. Lined tip & butt rings, snake intermediates.
It would be ideal as a rod for chub on the fly or close work on smaller lakes.
I can post in a strong tube with Parcelforce for £10 or you would be welcome to collect from Ripon.
