32" Landing Nets

dave lumb specialist tackle do a 36 inch lure weave mesh, which might be suitable as a replacement mesh for barbel fishing.
Thanks for the heads up Marco. I needed a new mesh for one of my nets. Just placed an order. šŸ‘

Iā€™ve got the Korum folding 32ā€, swallowed my PB barbel without issue. The joint does make it less sturdy but I lift from the block vertically and thatā€™s fine.
I'd second that. I believe mine's called The quickfold, large size. I imagine the medium size is what you've been using. They're identical apart from the dimensions. Plenty deep enough mesh.

Thanks. I'm looking for a rubber mesh to fit a 30'' round Salmon gye net. Fox do one but it's impossible to order. I've tried and ended up with a 26'' complete net and frame for the price of the mesh only. Anyone want it? It's still sitting here with the packaging. Ā£25. Anyone want it?
They are now officially stupid and incompetent.

Rubber mesh all the way for me.
loads better.
Yes The extra weight is a negative but itā€™s far out weighed by the major advantage that these nets donā€™t get caught up.
prickly bushes, hooks, trees and sticks, and more importantly fins.
anything that catches the mesh just drops straight off. Also soft mesh is far more vulnerable.
It doesnā€™t take much like a quick yank out of a thorny bush to tear a hole in it.
And thereā€™s the fact that they donā€™t absorb moisture. Dry after a good shake.
I have 4 rubber nets from 28-42 and have no problem man handling them.
You could Use a net float if they are difficult to keep up in the water but Iā€™ve not found it necessary personally

I recently lost my large landing net , it was made by Dinsmore . A quick trawl around on E bay and settled on a NGT 36 inch triangular net . It came yesterday , it would swallow up any Barbel swimming , very capacious / deep , metal spreader block , looks very well made , it was Ā£12.69 all in, including a stink bag . I have a few NGT bits of kit [ rod holdall , landing net pole ] and they are robust if a little heavy in construction .

Where are you buying your rubber meshes? I need one for a 30" Gye net.
Thanks

Shame. The frustrating thing is that Fox do exactly what I need as replacement mesh for one of their predator nets but I ordered one and a complete 24" fixed spoon type arrived. They haven't got a clue what they're doing these days and everything comes from Holland. This was pre Brexit so heaven knows how things are now.

Just an update on this NGT net . I have just assembled it and it is 36 inch from the spreader to the net cord but the arms are 42 inch as is the length of the cord so in my book that a 42 incher, damn I thought it was a bit of a monster , just have to take up carping !

Yes thatā€™s a 42inch net. Far too big and cumbersome for barbel. Iā€™d get it sent back.

NGT - no good, thanks :)

Edit: Apologies to all those who have bought their gear, and rate them. Really, I haven't got a clue (and many would agree).

If I cant get hold of the net Rich has mentioned I think I'm going to have a punt on the Darenth Valley 32" . . .June 16th is a while to wait and the biggest in my stretch 'only' goes 15 so may be ok . . !

Go Daiwa mission mate as Rich mentioned. šŸ‘šŸ»
youā€™ll regret going 32.
ā€œOnlyā€ 15 šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
Thats a fish of a lifetime. Net her up in something substantial

Lol - got to catch it first . . .not with my rigs . . !

PS> Daiwa out of stock everywhere! Is it still a current item . . ?
