Hi all. This one's more of a question really.
I have 2 of these rods in almost new condition.
They are beautiful rods but I know very little about them.
Does anyone know much about them?
I've only used them once and knew they were a bit special. They have gorgeous looking blanks too. Not sure if these were mass produced because they look very bespoke.
I wouldn't mind selling but obviously need to know what they're worth and how popular they are/were.

What's the code number on the rod? VCC11 or similar.

I had one an 11ft one over 20 years back dark grey blanks with a weave on it think it was around £90 when I got it.

Was always after the 12ft
 
Sounds about right could not remember if it was VCC or VCS

Cork handle, sliding reel seat, tip ring has a thread attachment?
 
i had a pair in the early 90's, although mine had a fixed Fuji-esq reel seat and Daiwa dynalow runners. The tip rings on mine were solid. Daiwa had a range of v series rods out at that time with the 'whisker kevlar' style blanks. i'm pretty sure the range was replaced by the 'powermesh' range. I bet that you will get as much for them now as what they cost 25+ years ago!
