Hi Gary
that takes me back a bit, I used to spend every Friday sleeping on the rat infested river bank waiting for the first light to start fishing, in those days it was run by Jim and Barbara Carey........I would bait up the swim and settle down to a good breakfast in Barbara's house.
After watching that video I just cant believe that it was possible to blank which I did on quite a few occasions although my best catch on Kings Weir was 14 Barbel in a day, not monsters but some cracking rod benders.
I can also remember helping to stock Trout on that section.
