Just a quick heads up for anyone thinking of buying a long rod for trotting. Bristol Angling are selling the Maver Signature Pro Classic rods in 14ft and 15ft at almost half price - £125 and £135 respectively. The longer version weighs 174g and by all accounts they’re a very decent river rod, capable of handling barbel. They have been discontinued, hence the price.
