    Rod insurance recommendations

If you’re an Angling Trust member, they have linked up with the Insurance Emporium to provide specialist tackle insurance. Might be worth a look but bear in mind that their policies are based on lunar months so you pay every four weeks rather than monthly. Dave

What the hell is wrong with people 😡😡

I must say you do wonder when a 12 year old girl and 14 year old boy can abuse and kill a defenceless 80 year old pensioner, out walking his dog….. What is this country coming to…???🤬 Dave

    Hampshire Venues?

As mentioned by Ralph Harris earlier, both Ringwood and Christchurch clubs have some good gravel pit/lake fishing in the Ringwood area (mainly on the north side of Ringwood, off the A338). Mainly carp oriented but also offer opportunities for tench, bream etc. Eastleigh & District AC also have...

    Another tackle shop going

Seems like that won’t be known until the end of the season, Joe. I guess it depends on whether anyone does take over the business but the Water Company will have some say in the matter whatever the future of the shop. Dave

    Another Wye bit to buy.

If the size of the fish and the numbers fishing are a factor in the value of river stretches, those on the Trent must be worth millions….😉

    Another Wye bit to buy.

No reason why a club couldn’t secure a mortgage/loan to buy it, provided that their finances are in good order.😉 Dave

    Another Wye bit to buy.

Too late Graham. Offers had to be in by midday on 7 November….😟 Dave

    Wye Fishery for Sale

No mention of the camp site that appears to occupy a significant part of the adjacent field…. Do they enjoy any rights on the water? Also looks like a fair bit of work might be required to open up any swims on the bottom, wooded section and presumably parking would need to be negotiated with the...

Fair enough and understandable. I will certainly order some when they are ready.👍🙂 Dave

So I’ve got a little range of bolo floats.

Just one suggestion - have you considered interchangeable tips or is that not practical/ too expensive? Dave

So I’ve got a little range of bolo floats.

Always interested in a set of new floats for long trotting so you can put me down for some, depending on size (cocking weight) and tip colour.🙂 Dave
