Technically you are correct, but I am not returning them in reality. By separating the tail section I can remove the main body which can be discarded and just using the tail section which carries no eggs. Grey area I suppose but there we are.
I had experience on the Great Ouse with crayfish, and actually found that catching crays and using their tails by just removing the end flared scales, and giving them the occasional twitch worked really well. Had many big chub and perch on them. I also used to peel the shells off the tails and...
Well a quick note to say nothing back apart from that initial email. Seems what others have previously mentioned about Korum customer service is true. 3 rods bags and £160 wasted, don't feel I can sell them because of the issues I have had, would feel awful if I sold them on and it happened to...
I have also had issues with new luggage, in my case some Korum products. I purchased a 3 rod progress holdall, a 2 rod version and managed to get a 2 rod transition holdall. I have had to replace a rod eye due to damage in the three rod version, and that has never been out of the house. the 2...
Hi Gavin, is that really the case? I used to use pro gold all the time, was as good as it gets, but then it became almost impossible to find so changed. Have tried a number of lines but nothing that ever equaled pro gold.
Paul, I have a pair of Drennan Specialist 1.75lb which have the Avon top and then the separate quiver section with two plug in quiver tips. Both are used but very good condition. I also have two Shimano 8000 XTEA reels and spare spools to go with them if interested.
Sorry, Now all sold !

Hi Jeremy, that was generally what made them so unique, very few of their rods were ever the same. The would start with the standard blank for whichever type of rod you wanted, then the rest was up to the customer choice. My reel seat was fitted later as I could not get on with the rod rings so...
Appreciate the reply, rod and pin, being realistic, good condition, not perfect so thanks for the heads up. Would probably guess £650 x £675 for the pair then as a reasonable guide.
Thinking of selling my 11 ft 1lb Hexagraph but no idea about a realistic value, rod is pretty standard apart from a wood effect reel seat, one or two little nicks/ marks but otherwise excellent condition, but may even consider selling with my Ray Walton rolling pin- any suggestions on a...
