I have the Korum XTND rods in 10ft 2.25tc and I've tried replacing them twice (for my small river barbel angling). I have to say I really enjoy using them and will give up trying to replace them. I know you specified not telescopic but for me these would be ideal. (if you can find any)

As I age my floats seem to get dimmer and I struggle and strain my eyes to see them. Right on the look out for a good mature day ticket tench fishery in the south (I'm based in Wiltshire but can travel ) that isn't match orientated and extremely busy and also a bit of solitude would be nice. Tough ask I know and I don't mind working for fish.

Speedia narrow drum Trudex or Rapidex. Speedia has no line guard Tudex does have one and the Rapidex is a caged reel but line guards are a personal thing some get on with some hate them.
