    Your fail safe hookbait?

Can't bear naturals can you! Also always nice to find something else on the other end of the line that the targeted barbel.

    Your fail safe hookbait?

I think this year will be the year I start making boilies, the satisfaction factor of catching in home made baits is a massive draw! Do you find it more cost effective to make your own?

    Your fail safe hookbait?

Just wondered what's everyones "fail safe" / most confident hookbait. Granted what you stick in the feeder will affect outcome also but I'm focusing on hookbaits. For me currently it's a dynamite spicy sausage boile hair rigged, sometimes I'll trim it a bit to rough up it's roundness.

    New River Threats.

Heard about this on the radio, the nickname they gave it (fluffy) gave me a chuckle.

    1st Barbel of the 2024

Just landed my 1st Barbel of 2024, been mostly focusing on pike but cracked out the feeder with the intention of some chub but was pleased to find a Wye Barbel on the other end of my line. Came in at 4lbs 8oz. I know we're now into Feb but how has everyone else's year started.
