Found these in the bottom of an old bag. I'm curious to know their correct name. I like the idea of being able to screw different weights on and off. Any one know what they are called? so I can try and find some....if they still exist
Having recent bought some Bolo floats of various brands I can't help but feel they're too long ......like the bodies seem really long especially on the hybrid ones and then the stems seem very thin and long .......should I be looking at shorter floats especially in the stem I.e shorter but...

After toying with the idea....and then watching a fellow club member have an amazing trotting session yesterday iv definitely decided to have a go at it myself.
So a question that I know will generate many answers is this. What rod would people recommend to cover trotting will need to be soft...
I have my isotopes stood up on my rod tip classic style....if you will.
Have seen some that are fixed with shrink tube flat to the blank.
I'm after feedback if I should go flat to the blank or not.

I'm after the lightest comfiest chair with an adjustable back and decent leg length. Iv got a standard korum chair which iv put rucksack straps on but feel it's a bit heavy.

I read and hear that in general Barbel aren't hard to catch.
So the first question is ....really? I'm struggling.
Next question, if the first statement is true then surely it wouldn't matter so much were you fish and what bait to use.
