Hi just picked up a cheap Fox Duo Lite Barbel Xtra 2 Piece 12ft 1.75lb rod. Might not get the chance to use it this season, so I was wondering if anyone has this rod whats the max you can cast with it. cheers

Just done my last overnighter this season I think. Bloke I know has never fished all night, never used a pellet and catches consistently on the tidal trent. He fishes about 1 hour into darkness and then packs up, done this for over 40 years. Only thing I'll miss is the "dawn chorus".

Bass Pro XPS Fluorocarbon for me last season. I never lost a fish due to this breaking, and my hooklenghts were between 3-4ft. If you know anyone of to USA for their hols its worth getting some. Its a good price against what we have to pay here for silmilar stuff.
