    Back rod rests

I just use the but screws 🙈 if im fishing with the rods even slightly elevated, never let me down, but i do fish locked up and sit right next to my rods, just like any self respecting barbel angler should 😉

    Shakespeare SKP ruckbag

Got the fox voyager aka camolite ruckall, absolutely love it,fits lovely without any straps across the chest, it is quite large but just dont over fill it ,can do a long day session easily 👍

    Oiling a cork handle

I have at least 2 towels in my gear and always wipe my hands after every feeder fill, might be a bit ocd but my reels and rod handles are very clean lol, i actually have a camo towel ive had for probably 10 years that i put in the wash after every trip,if i lost it id be mortified 🤣

    Why Korum, why?

Alan,if you google madcat pellet stops you should find them available on Ebay, they are £3:49 for about 130,make sure you get them in the small size though, when i first received them i thought they were too big but the v that goes into the pellet is fine like the old korum ones👍

    Why Korum, why?

Something that really annoyed me with korum is they stopped making their small brown pellet stops that were perfect for 8mm pellets, ive eventually managed to source some online after a long while of searching 👍

    Hooklinks again

Ive been using preston reflo power for years,.24 and 11lb usually 2-4ft lengths, and for £6:99 per 100m is great value,i dont like to faff about and its served me well, mind you i haven't been catching a great deal lately, but the severn seems to be quite hard recently ☹

    Catching at any cost

Ok,i probably phrased that incorrectly, he has moved from the Severn to the wye and now the lea for easier fishing (catching) but that's his choice, and good luck to him👍

    Catching at any cost

a friend of mine just joined verulum angling for the river lea,he had 8 barbel in 4 hour's, nice, but he spoke to an angler who was float fishing that was actually using a match clicker, apparently he had 62 barbel whilst he was there, does that appeal to anyone on here, certainly not me🙄

    Wanted Nash ultralite chair

I think that's the chair he was talking about, had mine about 5 years and love it, the inbuilt carry strap is brilliant,2 hands left to carry everything else 👍
