I never weigh or even photograph any fish I catch unless it maybe a double, which is rare for me on the middle Severn, they all look the same for christ sake,if I get a decent one on the Thames then maybe 🤔

I always think when fishing the Severn in flood,look at all the thousands of gallons just flowing out to the sea 🙄

Not that I weigh many fish unless they look half decent, I use a prolgic quick release adaptor on my pole and just unclip it and then weigh it in the net,a lot less faffing around a and less time out of the water for the barbel

I've used esp olive for years and never had a problem with it, obviously classed as a carp line, but a very good angler put me on to it and never looked back, I just think all the new esp lines are are a reincarnation of this line to make money, I have 1 spool left ,🤔
