Don't like to say it but if you put many of the Marford brigade on a proper barbel river they would be lost. It's like fishing in a goldfish bowl - 10 fish in a morning session is not uncommon. Just chuck a bait out and then a 4 foot twitch.😴😴😴
When you get to Leasey turn your car round in the car park so you are facing towards the gate as you don't want to be backing out. It's bad enough driving out😊😊
Leasey Bridge is a far nicer place tha Marford. Fewer people no getting there at silly times nice and relaxed. Not the same number of fish as Marford but they are there. The lagoon bit holds some very big roach as well as tench.
Much more civilised place and easy bankside access.

which pack down to a 5.6 length. Looking for a genuine 3 piece, butt middle and two tops. One Avon top and one with 3 interchangeable quiver tips which will pack down to just under 4...
As title says. Had the rod re ringed with Fuji 3 legs SICS as I busted one of the rings. It's in near brand new condition made in May 96. No rod bag.
Only problem it has my name on it. Doubt it's a big deal.
£140 ono. Live in Hornchurch.
