    Really disappointing luggage.

I might have another assessment. I'm guessing with the butt section in the pocket it might give a little extra room for the tip section. I have a shimano tribal at present and the length gives 3" clearance which is perfect.

    Yes. Had that experience

    Really disappointing luggage.

So I was in need of a new holdall due to current one giving up the ghost. Looked online and liked the look of the greys prodigy range. Well as you can imagine one thing lead to another and on its way was the tackle station rucksack, holdall and unhooking mat. It's got to match after all🤣...

    Winter is coming

Just got the avid carp thermal suit. Obviously not had sub temps to warrant it but some cold starts, thought it would be a good idea to wear it. Well. Too warm really, especially when a good walk to the swim. Positives. 20,000 hh. Loads of pockets, some waterproof sealed. Only negative I had...

    Mike, Bailiff WyeLea. Sad news.

That is sad news. Was only 'shouting' at him on the 19th of September. Great character. Missed by many I am sure. RIP.

    2lb rod and reel recommendations

For the 2lb torrix? I personally find them about 10% too small

    2lb rod and reel recommendations

Funny how people's preferences differ. I will never use another mainline than the gr60. Ultimate confidence in it, and I guess that's what counts with all the gear and bait we use. (still waiting to find the bait I have ultimate confidence in 🤣)

    2lb rod and reel recommendations

Anyone got a perfect reel combo for the 2lb torrix?i have the shimano 4000d's and find them a bit dwarfed, the 6000d too big?

Seems a worrying bit of news .

I think they are still very localised Kevin Brown and still very much responding to moving baits aposed to static approaches. I personally haven't caught as many in a whole season as I have to date this season and they are 95% Wharfe fish. The frustrating thing is that the fines will be paid by...

    Rolling fish question

Different swim, different day. Wondering if next time I should be baiting the line they're topping👍

    Rolling fish question

I have no doubt in the method I was using and how it was applied. Same river, same technique yielded 5 barbel in 2 hours the following morning (Thursday). The question was more on my potential watercraft failings. 👍

    Rolling fish question

My question is, is it a given fish rolling and breaking surface, will this be the line they are feeding on? I spent some time in a swim Wednesday. I plumbed the swim and found it dropped from 8' to 10' in front of me from up stream, then from opposite bank to near bank, 6' to the area of 10'...
