As others have said, the Drennan quivers are fine. But their rod sleeves are not what I’m looking for. I don’t need padding (butt and tip protectors do what’s needed) nor a full length zip. I just want something really light that will stop the line on made up rods from snagging on vegetation...
Re-activating this thread in the hope of advice on alternatives. My GP 11 ft 1.25 barbel quiver was stolen recently and the chances of finding one secondhand seem slim. So looking at one of these 11ft rods - Harrison Avon 1.25, Torrix 1.25 or Chimera Avon. I mainly touch leger at close range...

Not cheap, but easier over the shoulder than a round bucket and with quite a bit more space. Also much more stable and comfortable to sit on. Bait, food and flask inside...
