I came across a cheap second hand 11ft Acolyte carp waggler yesterday and couldn't resist so I now have a perch option. It should work quite well I think and could double for trotting for chub on smaller rivers. I'm still tempted with a Darent valley .75lb so I have a second rod.

I'm planning on targeting Perch more this coming season so im thinking of getting new rods and wondered if you guys have any recommendations mostly for ledgering with worms and prawns.

They are good Rich as are the grubs version which you can usually can usually pick up a little cheaper. I get through them quickly walking the dog, they usually start to perish after a year or so. Hence the move to jack pyke this time.
Dammit I've gone and ordered a new flask that I didn't even suspect that I needed before reading this thread.
Still at least it's cheaper than most of the other purchases I've made following late night bfw visits.
