    Shimano Line reducers

Sounds like a right faff to me !!. Nothing a couple of casts with a spin doctor wouldn't sort 😘

    Shimano Line reducers

I don't think you will find a specific line reducer. Best too wind all your new line onto your spool , top it off with backing line , counting how many yards you use Then load that onto your other spool. Wind on said amount of backing on first spool and wind on your new 200m💪🏿

Harrison Flood and Snag rod wanted

Thanks Micheal, I think I'm going to give them a try, Ive had a pair of c3s going dusty for a year or more now which I find ok , but just a bit too sloppy, and when on the rests just bend too much!. Nothing to loose as I've got them for a steel, there in desperate need of a rebuild, which I...

Chimera 3 v Chimera flood and snag.

Thanks Paul, I'm currently using my 11ft 2lb torrix for the majority of my barbelling, I have a pair of 2.5 torrix for the tidal.. And I'm looking to bridge the gap but prefer shorter rods. I know Harrison do an 11ft 2.25avon but again, not much info forthcoming..

    The new Harrison specialist blank

I think if Harrisons, have gone too the lengths of designing and building a mandrel to manufacturer these blanks then actually building said rods and testing them. That they are going to be as good as the avons, torrix's. and chimeras..... Maybe even better??.. Let's see...

    TFGear 15ft tremor float.

Thanks Neil, ive gone in blind, and won it for 67 on eBay, never been used. Hoping it's similar to the Tremor which was t40 carbon and quality fittings, a really great rod and very light.

Advice on a different type of water

Maggots, that would be my choice, I've fished rivers in france and Holland, and on all occasions, maggots out fished any bait we used for barbel, they turned there nose up at both luncheon meat and boilies, but we caught a good share on small pellets, single 8mm and banded 6mm ... At the end of...

Bib & Brace / Salopette Recommendations

I think most of us will have tried many different brands over the years.. My first pair were from the little woods or Walmart catalogue, and if I remember correctly we're Ron Thompson, quilted version, after about 10 outings, it looked like id been savaged by a wolf!.. God they were awful...
