Tonight on BBC1 at 8pm, it appears that United Utilities have been misrepresenting the level of pollution incidents in the North West and then patting themselves on the back for having low incidents of pollution.
Money always talks if a club can see they are going to lose money but an alternative is available to them to divert loses they would be very blinkered to oppose such a proposal.

Sorry I can't help with Thames advice but regarding rods IMHO 1.75lb is probably a bit light.
Managed to have a go for Wrasse yesterday at Bull Bay Anglesey, simple float fishing off the rocks and managed five fish in an hour and a half to 2lb, bait was Ragworm. Stunning colours on these fish one of my favourites.
