One of my friends has just taken the new scottish record for barbel, after 2 seasons of chasing them with not many results but his determination won through in the end. Not a monster but not bad for a fish that people say isnt even present in the river in any numbers..well done Steve :)...
Have to agree with what has been said already, those guys are at the very top of their game and not only are the floats inspiring but some of the photography is also. Definately wouldnt want to loose one Id be gutted.

I was in the florida keys 2 years ago and the bonefish were very scarce then, I ended up with a nice barracuda during my day trip with a few smaller jacks and had one tarpon but had to go out at night after it, thats all I was allowed fishing wise by the boss.
