I've not seen anything (could of missed it) about desalination plants. Apparently there is one in Beckton London which can serve around a million people. Maybe this is the way to go? or as mentioned sort the leaks in the first place.

I have caught Barbel from the Wharfe on bread in the summer in the evening since pellet and boily have come to the fore never tried it since. I could be missing a trick.

Im sure I read somewhere that Stef said he was scared of fishing in the dark maybe tongue in cheek:rolleyes: I've heard some strange noises and seen funny things at night but seeing Stef loom out of the darkness would probably beat everything hands down lol

Has anyone tried Berkley Nanofil yet? Diameters are very fine to breaking strain it is not a mono not a braid apparently. Looks as tho it may have uses.

I have the Avons for a few years now I would think the grip is similar to the derwents . Thye are warm and long wearing as well . I can report no issues with mine..
