    Chris, Johns reference is about the tiger nuts themselves it was believed ill prepared Tigers swell and kill fish if not cooked properly. I am sure there was another reason touted for this as well something to do with bacteria but I wait to be enlightened. Brian

    Try the Guru eva spools for about £12, you get a box and 10 or so spools with pins I find them great for keeping hooklengths on and like a pike rig bin they dont kink either. Brian
