    Wye bother in Winter

I have managed Barbel in every month of the fishng season bar December on the Wye. It is possible but conditions do have to be favourable and I can see by fishing the WUF that can work out an expensive gamble. As mentioned an investment in a club could reap rewadrs over winter and maybe save...

    WANTED Cheap Centrepin

I was in a complete mess the first time I used mine for trotting lol I guess it just takes practice and it takes such an age to wind in after a long trot too. Good luck with it, it does look like the ideal way to trot a float through. Brian

    Laser Pens

I think they use them to scare the ducks away if I am not mistaken. There was a case recently where some anglers were crashed by police because they had information they had been targetting planes or some other rubbish. Brian

    Lake Nasser - the return

Having dived the Red Sea in Sharm and Dahab I can concur with the driving "skills" of the locals. We drove up to Dahab at 11pm in a minibus and I was on the edge of my seat the whole way. Even worse going home in daylight I could see what was coming :rolleyes:lol They don't even use...

    Recently Locked Thread

How far are people willing to go to "protect" the rivers? Talk the talk walk the walk. Anglers willing to give up their own free time to walk the stretches marshalling and be the eyes and ears of the river systems. Enough people belong to clubs but how many of us actually baliff? I know my...
