I know someone who fishes Chew regular, He s told me of some VERY big fish coming out of there, i think i would prefer a large river fish over a stillwater one though.
Agree with all the above , would never pile it in all in one go over the winter months BUT... i do find the fish very often respond to a large amount of bait put in over many days
I have a panasonic Lumix g1 and i bought a cheap 3m wired remote off e-bay (from china i think) i'm pretty sure they do them for canon's to(and others). It has an digital led read out so i can see what ive set, you can set it to take as many pics as you want up tp 999 , with as long as you like...
John, Don't think anyone will kick off now, its a much friendlier site, ok healthy and strong debate is always good and i'm sure will always be encoraged, But the simple fact that people cant hide behind a ficticious name makes a huge difference :)
Panasonic G1 for me :D does all of the above and has the controls of an slr, bought a wired remote from Japan and i can set it to take any number of pics at any interval..... even focuses before each new shot :D brilliant bit of kit, smaller than an DSLR a well.

think it may of been this one, but the 310 and not 300
I used to favour rear drags but am now of the opinion that front is smoother and more reliable, and as such i now use all front drags, 3500b for barbel and lc's for carp and cats, even use my spod and marker reels for pike (again front drag)..... also watching this thread with interest as i too...
Looks like all the hard work that has so obviously gone into both the old and now the new BFW has been well worth it, thanks to Andy and the team from me.:D
