well, i do pretty much the same, but empty bucket,5 tables spoons of salt, 3 spoons of hot chilli pepper then top with boiling water, leave it , done, no probs,

that they are banning this on some waters because its stanning theses fish, and somthing about cleaning fluid in it,s contents ???bearing in mind that what it red, ?????? herd sombody else last week mentioned it in shop
i herd that this goo stuff lingers in the water for ages, cant see it being any good for barbel myself, anyway, like chris says, i would nt pay £12 for it ?????, rather put the doe to a sack full of hemp, kk
well dave, all credit to you for ure time, like mentioned above get on to ea, or angling trust, with all the big names ,surley they should get help , or in turn get the nearest angling clubs, ie baliffs to help out,
as mention above, mr barbel is more than capable of holding in flood water, as they will hold the bottom of the river, were the channels are, as most of the pressure is on the surface and up layers, smelly baits are a must, and a roving approach is best bet. also depends on which river you fish...
