    Shimano Service Filendre

Had the drag washers replaced in my 5000xtea by them, never worked right again, stripped it down a month ago and they had put a metal washer more than the diagram in, removed it and it works fine now, better dropping Marty Mulcairn a PM in my opinion.

    Landing net handle

Quite right Dave, It amazes me how many people are happy to go back 15 years to something which was good, if not heavy at the time, but still had similar faults to something which has evolved since due to popular demand. And then to pay 4 or 5 times the price it was 15 years ago.......

    Patrolling for poachers

Everything has to start somewhere, I for one think this is a great initiative which can only be good for angling.

Costa del mar polarised sun glasses

Jamie, I use specsavers polarisers, I had brown ones for years which were great and recently got grey ones to match the frames I selected, they are nowhere near as good, maybe the colour makes a difference too. My mate just had a pair of prescription Maui Jims made, they are superb but cost him...

Costa del mar polarised sun glasses

Jamie, if your eyesight is getting worse then wouldn't corrective lenses from an optician be the starting point?

    ABU 54's

It is a translation of kaaskopf Ade, the well known descriptor for the Dutch. I was making reference to the eBay link posted which showed some old bit of tat had sold for a hundred and seventy odd quid on eBay in Holland Hope that explains, I will try to spell things out better in future :D

    New quiver

Markus, it will take a brolly no problem, it takes my carbon compact bivvy no problem. Also has a pocket for bank sticks, a pocket foe your folded net and a slot for your landing net pole which kind of creates a spine, cracking bit of kit imo
