    50 Inch Brollies?

Got mine last season, streets ahead of the Korum stuff and feels bigger than a 50 inch due to the design but it doesn't roll up as tight as normal brollies and that was one of John's requirements so I never mentioned it.

    shimmy 4000d

No, its a totally different design, the d has a fairly thin one pie e bail whereas the oc has a more traditional bail arm made from thicker metal, 12000d is the same as 800d in terms of build.

problems with feeder emptying to slowly

Just mix the pellets in with your ground bait, don't over wet the mix and don't pack it in too tight at first. As the day wears on and you have fish feeding in your swim you can pack it tighter so it is released more slowly. Most of these problems are caused by over wetting the mix, especially...

    shimmy 4000d

Better going with the OC, review of both on lumbland, although the review is 6000OC Lumbland: reels I have a pair of 8000d and a pair of 12000OC for pike and catting and must say both are superb, I prefer the bail arm on the OC, much stronger.

    Keep net?

This is one of the reasons I always use a 36 inch triangular four foot deep net for barbel fishing, not really a fan of spoon nets for barbel.

    Keep net?

The use of profanity will not be tolerated on the forum Steve, consider yourself warned!! You could ask Keith the bear or the Bosnian sniper :D

How long do you stick with one bait?

Paul, I didn't say a large lump, you can also try experimenting with shape, ie. punch out a cylinder shaped piece.

How long do you stick with one bait?

Paul, by feeding multiple swims you are potentially spreading the fish out, if possible you would be better choosing a swim others aren't fishing and just feeding that one swim whilst not fishing yourself, just go and feed the swim (without letting others see you) for a week or so, then fish...

    Hemp and caster

Use a baitdropper Ash to get the bait down on the bottom, get a good bed of bait out and rest it for an hour or so before you fish. When you do cast in fish one or two rubber casters on a hair and superglue two real ones to them, that way the roach, dace, etc won't leave you without bait. To be...
