Hi Mike, I’d be interested in this…don’t have a lot of experience with pins but guessing this would pair nicely with my acolyte plus 14ft for chub …sent you a pm
Good work, I fish the Coalport stretch a few times a year and maggot feeder always proves a winner…live fishing this way as it keeps the bait going in little and often, keeps you attentive to what’s happening and you often bag good sized roach too👍
Pm sent
yeah agree lovely rod…new one is still in planning but thinking 11ft Avon with two tips, one solid tip 1.25Ib and one with spliced quiver but every time I chat it over with someone the spec changes slightly! Basically I have too many chub rods and want to create one dedicated tool to...
I bought this early summer from Rob Francis on here, only used twice since getting it. It’s a lovely action rod and perfect for touch legering, only reason I’ve decided to part with it is I’m trying to fund a bespoke Mark Tunley Chub rod.

I got one when they first came out and didn’t like it initially…but continued to use it and now think it’s great. Quality item that’s never leaked, small and light to carry compare to other shelters and provides superb cover on sloping banks or tight little swims
Never met you Ashley but I think you would indeed look like a big one!!! I wouldn’t dare take that fishing with me…the grief from mates would be to much to endure
Actually the seller changed their mind so still have one of these daiwa monstrosities with handles that could only have been designed for Larry Grayson 🫢
