I heard of a 10lb chub and a 16 lb barbel off the Ross water in one seesion weighted no doubt with those cheap luggage scales ,i think he was carted off to the local sanatorium

Been out twice thus far on the Wye plenty of barbel caught now well into double figures.Nothing very big typical Wye fare up to about 8lb ,left the back last night got too cold , had three layers on !
