You’re “encouraged” to submit one then hassled if you don’t and not everyone does. But normally enough to get a decent idea of how the stretch is fishing and often you’ll get a good idea about access I’ve always found them useful

If you can get a look at the catch returns on the Wye and Usk website you can get some info on how the stretch is fishing and other stuff that may be useful

Hi. Funny question - I need to clean the rod bag for a 12’ Torrix that has slug gunk on it Anyone tried washing one? I’m a bit wary of sticking it in the washing machine in case it shrinks but the slug stuff is a bit of a bugger to get off Thanks for any help

That was also what I was getting at - people don’t might not want the real thing but getting outdoors even if it is a bit like sitting in your own front room is better than not at all. I’d take my kids doing it instead of sitting at home on the Xbox all day
