Is the net head removable or fixed with the handle?

I read somewhere the large size can handle 8-16, and small is for 16-20? Anyway ordered some large ones for general float fishing and small ones for my micro fishing. I will leave the large hooks (8+) for the forceps.

The Harrison is working on some new float blanks, and seems like we will see them this year, if not in hurry, why not wait a bit and see what they can offer this time.

To me it’s the action, it is more through action than the original one. The rod feels more like a long powerful carp waggler rod to me, not really a long trotting rod.

Still using the disgoger I found on the bank 5 years ago, nothing special about it, in fact, it’s a bad one, slip off the line every time I use it, so always took me a while to unhook a fish. If this is a nonslip one, I think I will get a few.

This guy on eBay sells a lot of north western blanks, including the one you have, maybe you can drop him a message and ask about the blank...

Tough one since there are not many blanks available for that purpose. Top of my head is free spirit 15 blank, of course you can get Harrison Gti su, but, that blank is so out dated, I mean, it’s really heavy.

They never did and such blank never exist. Mark tunely did build a 11ft torrix 1.25 by cutting the butt off from the 12ft.

The Harrison Avon is completely different from 12ft torrix 1.25. And it is not 1.25, more like 1.4lb, good blank though.

No, not floppy at all, tippy is what I would say. The rod is powerful in the mid to butt and I doubt not many chub can put bend it. I think this blank is very good for power float work.

From my understanding, only the buyer pays the fee. Seems it will automatically added to the listing price, so the seller has no control over it.

It's not that light, I think it is between 1-1.25lb TC. The light tip is definitely not too light for chubbing, I always use 1oz tip in the winter with FS rod. The tip doesn't involve too much when playing a good fish because of the through action, when the rod bends, the tip is almost straight.
