Hi Mark - I did make quite a lot of i-powers for Bfw but predominately as the twin tip (1.75 and 2.0 test). Is it signed? . I signed most but not all, and these go back a number of years. The i-power blank was made by Harrison for Bfw. Cheers Bob

Both share a common butt 1.75 and 2.0 lb test. You can buy them in blank form as a twin tip - that is 1 butt section and 2 (1.75 and 2lb) tips. Made lots both in single and double tips form. Sold a very nice 1.75 yesterday, made from a new chestnut brown blank that Harrison stopped quite a few...

Loved the Chimera 2, was indifferent about the 3 and Flood and Snag. Went over to the Torrix blank when they came out, but now building a Chimera 2 and Chimera 1 for me and also a Chimera 1.25. Picture of my old Chimera 2 from 200x something. Cheers Bob

Yes, part of the Century Eliminator range T 700 to T 1200. SGT = solid glass tip (I think and on some in the range). Got the T800 and T900 besides others. Cheers Bob

Yes, as a past owner of some Century Pulse rods should have remembered as used the arrangement myself on my Chimera 2's for adding/fitting quiver tips. Still got them somewhere. Cheers Bob

Is that the tips using a 'pigtail' ring that allows quick removal? Seen them on 'Sidewinder' indicators. Cheers Bob

Bought a made up rod on a number of occasions for the 'blank' and modded them. Missed a couple of Infinitys last week at £200 each. With the price of blanks and courier costs it's not as daft as it seems. Cheers Bob

I would say so - they even do a GTI SU SU in the 13'.

Think you may also find that some couriers have stipulations of packing type - i.e. cardboard. Cheers Bob

Sorry to hear of this and one of the reasons I gave up making rods as a proper business sometime back. As you have discovered UPS and all other couriers won't cover rods even if you take out extra insurance on them. Been caught a few times when couriers have destroyed a or a consignment of rods...

I have EVA/Duplon on some of my carp and Daiwa Ivan Marks Whisker Kevlar and other float rods from years back and personally dislike the stuff because of its feel (especially when wet) and other aspects. I'm not surprised at manufacturers using it as it is generally much cheaper, more...

Pretty sure that it used to be quoted as 2lb but got increased to 2.25 somewhere along the way. I'll have a check though. Cheers Bob
