A friend of mine bought a plastic Heron for her pond, within 3 days the real one had attacked and completely destroyed it! Obviously wasn't too happy about sharing it's swim.

These last couple of months, not a lot at all. Now its getting a bit colder though, I reckon I should manage 2-3 evenings a week, all things allowing.

To be honest I think CAT is a much better magazine so if anyone is lost as to what to buy now.... Go for CAT! Less adverts, better writers, more interesting/thought provoking articles. Still a shame CF has gone though.

I heard about a good barbel coming out of a really hard bit of the thames on a chip, for this exact reason! I've thought about it, but I just can't quite bring myself to rig one up though.....

The lake I had mine from is a lovely little place, but it now looks like I'm going to have to start searching in my local gravel pits.... And try and avoid Linear!

Cheers Stu, it went 2.7 but felt quite empty, could be quite a bit bigger at the right time. Having compared your stunning fish and mine Chris, from what I can see it's just the mouth on mine that gives it away as being a hybrid. Back to the drawing board for me then, I just need a water...
